Re: Engine/Pump options for 6" Dredge build I am going with a keene 6" but using proline hp 400 pumps. I talked to Jeff at Proline, very nice and helpful btw, and he said his hp400 flow about 370 gpm plus each 6.5 honda is 25 lbs lighter than a 9 . Worth it if you have to pack in and 740 gpm is plenty for a 6" that isn't going to crazy depths.

Proline 6 Inch Dredge – Black Mining
The 6 utilizes twin 9 hp Honda engines and two powerful HP500 pumps. The 6 can be equipped with one or two compressors, of either the deep water high pressure PCA10s or standard low pressure air compressors (1 or 2). The powerful suction of the Proline 6" makes it an excellent deep water dredge and a full 25' of suction hose is included.

I think I talked to Rob about buying the Keene as against the pro-line and I am pretty sure he said the pro-line would be the better dredge. One year down the track with the new 6 inch over and under and I was a little bit disappointed with the quality and the performance.
